Elenjical Solutions strengthens board as part of growth and diversity drive
The appointment of three new senior advisors to the IT services consultancy’s board of directors will support the South African company’s ambitious growth and inclusion programs.
Leading Johannesburg-based financial IT services consultancy Elenjical Solutions has announced the appointment of three senior advisors to its board. Effective immediately,the new directors are Hangwi Muambadzi (independent director), Kabelo Sekele (non-executive director) and Thabiso Ramosolo (executive director). All three are South African nationals.
Thabiso Ramosolo has been promoted to board level from his previous role as Head of Murex at Elenjical Solutions, a position he has held since 2017, while the other two positions are external appointments.
Hangwi Muambadzi holds an MBA from the University of Oxford in the UK, and a BBusSci. in Finance, Economics and Statistics from theUniversity of Cape Town. Since 2019 she has been Head of Partnerships (New Business Ventures) for all African markets excluding South Africa at Absa, a South African-based financial services group. Prior to that Muambadzi spent two years as Vice President of Digital Strategy and Innovation at Barclays Africa Group, a bank, and was a corporate finance and M&A analyst in the investment banking division of Deutsche Bank. In addition, Muambadzi is an ambassador for South Africa on the One Young World youth leadership movement and recently became an investment portfolio advisor within Launch Africa, a Pan-African focused seed venture capital fund.
Kabelo Sekele holds a BA in International relations and Political Science from the University of Pretoria, as well as a qualification in Cyber Security from the University of Cape Town. He is currently Managing Partner of Blackstone Partners, a Johannesburg based tech-focused advisory and strategy consulting company. Sekele is also head of business development at Phakamo Tech, a 100% black and youth owned tech risk, cloud enablement and cyber security consultancy. Sekele also serves on the board of Directors of Finplus SA a Subsidiary of the Finplus Group, which creates ‘fintech’ software for easy management of digital finance operations at scale.
